Retreat Healthcare, Brattleboro, VT - Future State and Implementation Plan

The future state map consisted of the current state map, modified by the initiatives the team had identified. It projected substantial gains to be made from approximately  20 projects, which were prioritized to give a “staged” implementation plan. The result was a series of successes in sequence which assisted the uptake of ideas in the affected departments and units.

 

A 5S implementation event added improvements in workplace organization and standardization, along with many documentation revision projects as well as many other projects.
